There are a few options when it comes to taking your driving test near Dartford. Most candidates select either Sidcup, Erith or Belvedere. However, that being said, you do also have the options of Tilbury (just over the water) and of course Sevenoaks Test Centre.
You may be surprised to find out how low the driving test pass rates are at some of these test centres. When you consider our first time pass rate, it speaks for itself.
Erith Driving Test Centre
Erith Test Centre
Located on Crabtree Manorway North and just off of what's locally known as the 'Horse Round-a-bout" in Erith.
Erith test centre also carries out Motorcycle Driving Tests too. For both Mod 1 and Mod 2.
A number of Erith test routes overlap with those of Belvedere. Normally either heading up to Upper Belvedere and towards Bexleyheath or turning more London bound towards Plumstead or Thamesmead.
Actually located in Foots Cray, just down the hill from Sidcup town centre. Placed in the center of an business industrial estate, which also means it's one of the largest. Boasting it's own car park with modern facilities within. Although Sidcup test centre has a couple of larger round-a-bouts, its one of our favourite. Covering pretty much anything you may come across after you pass your test.
A number of Sidcup test routes will see you navigating either the A20 or some of the villiages surrounding Sidcup. For example, you may head up towards Orpington & Petts Wood. Similarly you could be seen weaving through traffic in Swanley or Bexley Village.
